David EDDINGS
David Eddings est né en 1931 à Spokane,
Washington. Il a grandi près de Seattle, étudia au Reed College de Portland,
Oregon, et à l'unioversité de Washington DC. Il vit actuellement à Carson
City, dans le nord-ouest des Etats-Unis, avec sa femme Leigh. Il enseigna l'englais
au collège et travailla pour Boeing.
Il écrivit son premier roman, "High
Hunt" en 1973 mais ne connut la célébrité qu'en 1984, avec "The
Belgariad" (vendu à 13 000 000 ex.).
